A registered massage therapist (RMT) in British Columbia is a health professional regulated by the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia (CMTBC) under BC’s Health Professions Act.
Being registered means that Melinda has completed all required education and has successfully passed provincial licensing examinations and is currently in good standing with the professional governing college (CMTBC)
All initial appointments are set for a minimum of 60 minutes as Melinda will preform a thorough intake interview in order to create an appropriate plan / care tailored for your needs.

Yes. If you do not show for you appointment, or do not cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, you will be billed for the full amount of your treatment. Please note that your extended health coverage does not cover this expense.
Melinda appreciates that no one is perfect and there may be situations that occur that are out of your control (sudden illness, family emergencies, etc.), in which Melinda may make an exception to the above policies on those rare occasions.
Absolutely not - you are not required to have a doctor's referral to see a Registered Massage Therapist unless it is required by your insurance company.
